Our story
Vardanta Earth was founded to deploy biochar-based carbon removal where it can have the greatest impact: in partnership with farming communities across India. Here, agricultural residues are often burned in fields, releasing CO₂. Converting this biomass into biochar turns potential emissions into permanent removal while improving soil fertility and farmer livelihoods.

In partnership with farming communities across India, Vardanta develops high-integrity biochar and carbon removal projects rooted in scientific rigor and measurable impact. Our goal is to remove 1 million tonnes of carbon dioxide by 2028 while maintaining uncompromising standards of environmental responsibility, transparency, and farmer equity.
